Unleashing Your Creativity: A Path to Discovering Your Authentic Self

Hello Sweetheart!

Expectations Are Stifling!

Have you ever felt like you're living your life based on what society expects of you, rather than what truly makes you happy? It's a common experience for many of us, but the good news is that you don't have to continue living that way. By tapping into your creativity, you can discover your authentic self and break free from the societal constructs that hold us back.

Let’s Cultivate Your Creativity

Creating visual art is a wonderful outlet for exploring your inner world and gaining insight into your thoughts and emotions. If your first thought after reading that sentence is “I am not a creative person”, then please keep reading because this is for you more than anyone! I promise you, every single person is creative, you have just been conditioned to think that if what you create isn’t accepted by others then it isn’t good. That’s bullsh** sweetheart (respectfully said).

Through doodling, drawing, painting, or other forms of creative expression, you can visually understand your experiences and find clarity and understanding. Plus, engaging in creative activities has meditative properties, making it an excellent tool for alleviating stress and promoting relaxation.

By using your imagination and exploring new perspectives, you can challenge limiting beliefs and redefine success, beauty, and happiness on your own terms. Creativity can help you break free from old patterns and create new ones that align with your true self, leading to a more fulfilling and centered life.

So if you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, remember that tapping into your creativity can be a powerful tool for personal growth and self-discovery.

This is such an amazing way to reduce stress, relax, and re-center yourself. You can simply start with a piece of paper and a pen or pencil. Choose a simple symbol that resonates with you, like a flower, heart, peace sign, mushroom, etc. You can even choose a shape like a circle or a triangle. Now, on your paper, draw this image as many times as you can in different sizes with the goal of filling the paper from edge to edge.

While you’re doodling your symbol or shape, focus your attention on the movement of your pen on the paper. Get lost in the process and repetition. Once you fill the paper, you can grab some markers, colored pencils, or crayons and color in each symbol or shape. Chose colors that inspire you.
